About the Artist:
Luna de Jesús Licea is a self-taught artist based in Los Angeles, with a dedicated focus on his studio practice since 2021. His work explores themes of community, identity, and cultural preservation through oil painting. While his primary practice is studio-based, it often extends into his everyday life through hands-on processes like embroidery, which he uses as a way to customize and personalize clothing.
