She has published two books, including HUSH OF THE LAND, co-authored with legendary wilderness guide Smoke Elser, which celebrates the spirit of Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness. With a Ph.D. in Political Science and extensive experience teaching international relations and wilderness policy, Eva-Maria bridges natural and social landscapes, capturing the intersection of nature, people, and cultural change. Her writing and public talks reflect a commitment to transformative storytelling and community engagement across borders and environments.
